Object V · clause 3(e)
Knowledge
From the Deed of Trust, registered 3 October 1968
To establish libraries and study rooms and arrange for lectures demonstration and other methods for propagation of knowledge and education.Clause 3(e)What it asks for
Libraries and study rooms — and whatever else works.
The Deed asks for libraries and study rooms, then for “lectures demonstration and other methods”. That last phrase has done a lot of work over fifty-eight years. It is how the founders left room for whatever would come next without having to guess what it would be.
The library and study rooms are on the estate. Lectures and discourses on the Gita and Sanatan Dharma are held here. And the nine themes and forty-five shlokas set out on this website, in Sanskrit with Hindi and English beside them, are the other methods the clause allows for.
