When the temple is open

Morning 6:00 – 12:00
Evening 16:00 – 20:30

Every day. The hall, the grounds and the gardens are open to anyone who comes.

What people ring about

Four things, mostly.

Arranging a havan, katha or path

Families arrange these at the Bhawan for their own occasions. Ring either number and say which day you have in mind; the hall and the priest are booked from the office.

Giving, and what a gift pays for

Nothing at the Bhawan is charged for, so everything rests on what is given. The giving page sets out how, and what a gift can and cannot be spent on under the Deed.

Coming to teach, or to read

Clause 3(d) of the 1968 Deed provides a room and a meal, for up to a month in the year, for a learned person who comes to teach. That provision is still open. Write, and say what you would read.

A correction to something on this site

If a name, a date or a photograph here is wrong, we would rather know. Email is the easiest way, and please say which page.

Getting here

In the heart of Hansi.

Hansi is on the Delhi–Hisar road in Hisar district, Haryana. The Bhawan stands on Bhagat Singh Road in Gandhi Nagar, inside the town rather than on its outskirts, so an auto from the bus stand or the railway station will know it by name.

Ask for Gita Bhawan. There is space to leave a vehicle on the campus itself.
