Every one of these is fixed by the lunar calendar, so it keeps its place in the year and moves in the Gregorian one. The tithi is what is printed here, because the tithi does not change.
The four principal days
Two of these belong to the deities the Deed names, one to the text the Trust is built on, and one to clause 3(d) — the provision for a learned person who comes to teach.
Ashtami of the dark fortnight of Bhadrapada
August or September
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
The Bhawan’s largest day. Shri Krishna is the deity named first in the Deed, and the night of his birth is kept with bhajan and kirtan until midnight, the abhishek, and prasad for everyone present.
Panchami of the bright fortnight of Magha
January or February
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
Maa Saraswati is the second deity the Deed installs, and this is her day. Children beginning their studies are brought to the temple, and the Trust’s work in learning is what the day is for.
Ekadashi of the bright fortnight of Margashirsha (Mokshada Ekadashi)
November or December
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
The day the Gita was spoken. For a Trust founded on the Gita this is the year’s own anniversary: the whole text is read, and the reading is open to anyone who wants to sit through it.
Seven days, announced each year

A week of katha in the hall, given by an invited vidwan. Clause 3(d) of the Deed provides for exactly this — a room and a meal for the learned who come to teach.
Through the year
Navami of the bright fortnight of Chaitra
March or April
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
Kept before the Ram Darbar in the temple, with recitation through the day.
The first nine days of the bright fortnight, in Chaitra and again in Ashwin
March–April and September–October
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
Nine evenings before Maa Durga, with aarti and kirtan, and the havan on the closing day.
Chaturdashi of the dark fortnight of Phalguna
February or March
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
Night-long worship at the Shiv Parivar shrine on the campus.
Amavasya of Kartika, and the day after
October or November
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
The Bhawan is lit through the evening; the Annakut offering is made the following morning and distributed as prasad.
Purnima of Chaitra
April
This year’s date is announced at the Bhawan
Sundar Kand and Chalisa paath before the Panchmukhi Hanuman.
Every week
Clause 3(a) of the Deed asks that the worship be kept up and not allowed to stop. It has not.
Bhajan, a reading, and a discussion of it. No charge, and no need to tell anyone you are coming.
Families arrange a havan at the Bhawan for their own occasions. Speak to the office.

Rather than print a date here that might be a fortnight out, the Bhawan will tell you the day, and the hour the aarti begins.
