Object I · clause 3(a)
Worship
From the Deed of Trust, registered 3 October 1968
To arrange for and continue the worship of the deities God Krishna and Goddess Saraswati which are to be installed in the said temple located at the trust Estate.Clause 3(a)What it asks for
Keep the worship going, and do not let it stop.
The Deed names two deities and asks that their worship be arranged for and continued. The verb it uses is worth noticing: not established, not funded — continued. In 1968 the worship was already happening. The Deed was written to make sure it could not be interrupted by the death of the men who had been paying for it.
Shri Krishna and Maa Saraswati are installed in the temple as the Deed provides. Around them, added over the decades since, are Shri Ram Darbar, Bhagwan Shiv with the Shiv Parivar, Maa Durga, and Panchmukhi Hanuman ji. Aarti is offered morning and evening. Darshan is open to everyone, and no one is asked for anything at the door.
